UPDATE!!
Bob's date of birth is 8/8/05. He was gelded in the spring of '09 so that we could have fun riding and exhibiting him. He was SUPPOSED to be Gordon's riding horse - after all, he was born in his lap...
So off he went to the trainer, who was instantly smitten. He got lots of visitors at Melody's and has quite the fan club! The more she worked with him, the more enamored of him she became. Gypsy horses are like that, you see! Melody liked Bob so much, she talked her sister into leasing him so he could stay at her barn! They surprised the kids with the news on Christmas and he just knew he was the star of the day!
Watch for Bob in the New England area at open and 4-H shows, and at SCA events!! He's still for sale, but may not be for long...

Bob (8/05) by Clononeen Romantic Traveler "Valentino" out of AF Dana. Bob is sweet and willing, but has only had ground training. He gets along well with other horses and has never been bred. He should finish at or near 15hh. He has nice bone and feather, which get heavier each year! He has a pretty head, and if you're looking for lots of black, here's a boy to look twice at. He's correct and flashy and will be a nice breeding stallion, or a breathtaking show horse as a stallion or gelding.
Dana is just shy of 15hh and is by The Henry (Connors bred). She is registered with the Irish Cob Society and received First Premium at a grading there, one of only a few mares to do so. She is also registered with the Gypsy Horse Registry of America, Formerly the Gypsy Cob Society. Val's sire is Kincora Brave, another Irish horse. Val is almost 14.3 with great bone and feather. He has excellent conformation and a lovely head, both of which he passes on to his foals. Val is an SCA horse and loves all the jousting and games. He has received many blue ribbons both in hand and under saddle, and is going very well in dressage. Val is registered with the GHRA and the Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse Association.
Bob is not yet registered, but is eligible for any of the registries.
